Default C2 Electric Conversion

Is it possible to convert a 1966 Corvette to an electric like in the Chevy Volt with small gas engine to recharge the batteries so there is driving range?

Do you know any shops who have done these conversions before. I view conversions like brain surgery, I don't want to be the first for the doctor.

Sorry. You could try EV West. They sell conversion parts and may know of someone (maybe Stealth EV?).
