Shift Points and Shifting Manually
So is it okay to manually shift an auto valve body 700r4? It's a built trans up to around 600hp (we'll see about that) and has TV cable adjusted properly. Governor is shifting trans at around 4k from 1-2 and 2-3. 5k from 3-4. Don't want to change governor right now, so planning on manual shifting at 5500, if it's safe. Really only using for going "fast" and not when just cruising around.
