Default Texas Speed push rod issue

Just got my ls2 C6 back together after doing a cam swap and had a little valve train noise that didn't go away after a little idling. Started checking rocker arms and sure enough I had one that was really loose. Was bolted down tight so I pulled the pushrod and compared to a stock rod. Sure enough it was about 2 tenths short. Checked it against the other pushrod on that cylinder and same thing. Both marked 7.400. Called TSP Thursday morning when I found it and informed them of the QC issue and sent pictures showing the short rod compared to a good one. Best they could do was "try" to find me one Monday to ship out. I let them know I had a dyno/tuning session scheduled for Tuesday morning but they didn't seem to care that their screw up was causing me delay. Fortunately after calling my tuner to let him know, he has a spare that he's going to swap out for me but in the meantime I'm running a stocker to get it on the trailer and let it heat cycle a couple times. Pretty disappointed with their customer service and thinking I should've waited and went with BTR.

Bought Texas speed lifters, one of the rollers on the lifter broke off and chewed up the cam. I haven’t found the extra piece of metal in the pan or filter.

Pretty sure might have been polished up refurbs or eBay clone lifters. Who knows.
