Default Siamese bored block

Has anyone had experience with a siamese bored block driven on the street and/or highway? OR specifically GM casting number 10051107? I have a 509 CI that came with my recently acquired 66 coupe. It had been drag raced and seems to run great. I am wondering if it would be appropriate (with modifications) to drive on the street and will I have problems with it overheating with the normal 427 BB cooling set up? If it does, has anyone had a successful remedy?
Thanks in advance

Do a Google search on that casting number - looks like the Chevelle people are familiar with it and like it. YMMV

For the cooling question I'd look over here:
