Call me dumb.
So I have a 5.3 vortec in my 04 Sierra, and I want to change out my intake manifold from the stock one to the Edelbrock cross ram sbc manifold. Forums say it only fits ls3 due to the rectangular ports but now there is adapters from rectangular to cathedral, some people say they have done the ls3 manifold swap to a ls1 and I'm told ls1 manifolds will fit on a 5.3. So that was just a really convoluted way of asking will the ls3 manifold fit on my 5.3 vortec? Thank you to those who answer!

is the edelbrock for an ls engine or gen 1 sbc? If the latter you cant use it (& may be interested in purchasing)
Id stay with the truck intake and cathedral setup for the torque that heavy truck needs.
The trailblazer ss intake is nice, fast makes one too.
