What to do with EGR? AFR 195s-No port to intake
First - Merry Christmas to members
Second, I decided to take some pics of my new AFR 195 and compare the intake ports to the Felpro 1205 and the Sram ports.
AFR195 to Felpro 1205 gasket
SuperRam Intake to Felpro 1205 gasket
There is definately porting possibilities!!!
NOW, here is the question????? What about the EGR?? There is no port on the heads for the egr port on the SuperRam.
What do I have to do to either eliminate the EGR or is there another means to allow it to function??
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

EGR is not a performance enhancement. Just like getting rid of the exhaust cross over on carb type manifolds.
Oh! I forgot to say that those 195's shure do look nice. Are they the race ready versions or CNC ported?

I assume that the 85 does not have the EGR pipe up from the exhaust manifold? Anyway, I would not worry about it since you won't want to use it anyway. I can disable it in your chip if you like since I live close to you. I have those same heads on my car. I had my Super Ram base Extrude honed. Here are some B4 and after pics.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Lt1er,
I bopught the straight 195s w/o the competition porting since they closly match the 190s w/ the comp porting. corkvett, a forum member, recommended this and it saved +600 dollars
89vet,
i definately appreciate the offer, but I am waiting to hear from bowtye8, I purchased a some items from him that icluded performance chips for my identical setup. In addition, once i break it in, I am going to set up an appointment with ski_down_it to meet me at a dyno in McDonald for some specific tuning
The dyno's info can be found at http://www.speednation.com
Thanks for the info.
