Piston related- Anybody have access to an old TRW parts list?
This request goes back to my prior post asking for info on BB oval port heads. Due to the holidays I haven't been able to reach the folks that might have the info I need. I'm trying to figure out what pistons I have so I can get a clue on dome configuration & valve clearance w/ various cams.
When I did my engine back in 1990 I used forged aluminum TRW pistons- part #L2300F. Since Federal Mogul bought out at least part of TRW it looks like their parts numbers have changed & I can't find anyplace that has info on my pistons. Can anybody either find this old part # or find a cross reference for the new one so I can get the specs? Thanks in advance. :cheers:

L-2300F .140 dome height,16.8 cc dome volume, weight 777 grams,5/64" x5/64" x 3/16" ring grooves, .0015 piston to wall clearance :chevy

4.25" Bore
1.767" Comp. Dist.
777 Grams Weight
16.8 cc Dome Volume
.140" Dome
Compression Ratio with 100.9 cc heads 9.86, with 119.0 cc heads 8.48
This is still a good part number.
