Default Best Prices on Stroker Rotating Assemblies

I am looking to build a 383 stroker and was wanting to buy a complete rotating assembly including crankshaft, rods, pistons, bearings, rings, etc. Who has the best prices on performance kits?

Thanks.

PME Racing's 383 stroker package
This might be a good one.

or Competition Products

or Flat Lander Racing

or The Engine Shop

Good Luck!

What type engine do you want to build? If you are building a high torque motor that will stay below 6000 rpm and naturally aspirated, you can build a good motor with cast pistons, nodular iron crank, etc. and save some $$. If you want to run rpms above 6000, run a blower, or nox, you'll need forged parts to hold it together ($$).

I don't know but don't buy from Gofastparts.com. The guy there was a complete ***hole to me. I asked him how much and what kind of Eagle kits are available for my givin engine. dart 400 smallblock. Gave all the specs, things were cool at first, he rattled off a whole setup that would give me a 406ci. but the compression was too high. I found JE had a lower compression -36cc dished piston and asked him about it, he said that the piston was a typo. I asked what part, the whole piston or the compression ratio. I then ended up calling JE, found the truth, the piston would work for what I want. Told Frank at gofastparts, asked for a total cost with shipping. Never got a response. Finally I send him a e-mail saying, let me know if you can do this, if not let me know so I can find someone who can. He says again he called JE and says that they don't make that piston. I call again and confirm that it does exist. I tell Frank this, and said one of us is getting bad information. he then goes off on how I never even asked about the -36 cc piston. and said I was talking about the 28 cc the whole time. Then proceded to say that I never even told him what block I have or whats it's intentions, and that I need to find out what parts can fit my block, and thats not his job. I told him no that is not my job, "even though I did all that cause his inital responses were vague." he is a supplier of Eagles kits, he is the one who knows about what they have to offer, not me. His customer service pissed me off. he calls him self a super engine builder perhaps he is, but I will never know cause I am not going to deal with someone that takes a month to even get a response from. Besides I found a local guy that can get everything I need for a 100 less than him.

Sorry I had to get that out of me cause I told him I don't appriciate his attitude and that word of mouth is what makes and breaks a business. He said his business is too solid for a guy like me to even effect it. I don't really care to bad mouth him. But I couldn't hold it back.

I truly appreciate the feedback. After talking with several places, I think Flatlander Racing is the way to go. Very knowledgeable, and actually talked me out of a 383. He really focused on the type of racing I am doing, where I want to make power, and what RPMs is the car mainly going to spend most of its time. From there, he designed me an engine combination and is now in the process of designing a customer grind cam to match. His custom grind cam is no real difference in price from off the shelf either.
