Filed Syncro Teeth
Helping a friend put together a 71 Z28 with LS6 and M21. In the trans, every other syncro tooth has been filed for drag racing. How will that effect driveability on the street? At lower RPM's will it grind when shifting gears? Thanks, Hershey :chevy

That is known as a "crash box" shift it real fast up through the gears and it will probably be no problem BUT downshifting might be another matter.

Thanks for the help guys. I had heard of this mod, but never actually experienced it. This is primaryly a street car, but may see a little action, so we needed to know how it would act on the street. Thanks for the help. Hershey :chevy
