Yeah, post some pics when you get them. I just bought a set of Dart Pro 1s, and I'd like to see the comparison.

I am very curious about these heads. Where did you pick them up at BTW? I know of one other person running the 200cc model and his comment on them was, "They are f*****g awesome!" Way too vauge for me. The numbers make them 'look' like an AFR killer but CHP did a flow test on the 235cc and they flowed much less than the advertised numbers. So I have some doubts.

I hate to burst every ones bubble, but Pro-Topline, which use to be Pro-Action, usually publishes their advertised flow @ 0.700” of lift! If you read the fine print in a Summit Racing catalog, you’ll see what I mean. If the Pro-Topline 180cc SBC heads can flow 260cfm @ 0.500” lift, well their right there with Weld-Tech’s 100% CNC jobs? Which are about as good as it gets!

Rich:
I'm considering purchasing a set of 360cc Pro Topline heads for my 454 8-71 blower motor. They flow 380cfm @ .600 on the intake and 248 @ .600 on the exhaust.

The heads also flow 403cfm @ .700 on the intake and 265cfm @ .700 on the exhaust....but the lift on my cam will only be around .640 or so....so the .700 lift numbers are useless to me.

Anybody else know anything about these heads?

Larry:
Thank you for those links. I am very impressed to see a rep from Pro Topline on the Chevy Talk message board.

I found a great deal on a pair of their heads and jumped on it. $600 + $60 got me a pair of these bare heads:

BBC Pro Topline Cast Iron Heads, 360cc Intake Runners, 119cc Combustion Chambers, .250" Raised Exhaust Ports, 2.30"/1.88" Valves.

The heads are bare, but I still thought I got a great deal on them. I'm looking forward to running these heads. I hope they are as good as everyone says they are.

It seems like everyone who has bad mouthed the heads has never ran them first hand (it was all he-said, she-said). I also noticed that everyone who used the heads was very pleased with their quality and performance.

bence13_33, yeah I find it hard to knock somthing I have not tried.

They would have to be manufactured flat out terribly for them to be a piece of crap and you know they they are smarter than that! Anyway with some porting none of it matters any way cause I'm sure all heads can be manipulated with porting.
