Any Chassis dyno tips??
I plan on running her on Breathless Performance's mustang chassis dyno again, and I'm looking for some advice.
I can't remember if the runs start either at a specific RPM, or MPH, specified by the operator. Last year, I just mashed the throttle when I hit the specified point.
What method should I use when looking for the best #'s?
-Mash the pedal down and lift when I redline?
-Slowly apply more and more gas until I redline?
-Some other method??
Last year, I ran with the headers disconnected from the exhaust. This year, I plan on leaving the exhaust the same way it is on the street.
I also plan on installing my new carter fuel pump to try and rectify the problem I had with the power dropping off at high rpm (see sig for link to dyno printout pictures)
Plus I'm gonna try installing my holley adjust-a-jet kit.
I've had both the pump and the adj.-a-jet kit for at least 4-5 months (been that long since I've posted too :bb ) and I've been too busy to even take the vette out.
I'm crossing my fingers that I can AT LEAST break 300rwhp this time.
Good Luck!
