I believe that same jet bike has been offered up several times already, I think the $25K+ current offering may be about the highest it has gone - I hope the seller didn't really pay $185k for it originally.
Cool idea with the jet engine and all. It's looks like an APU (aux power unit) from a DC-9. You can tell in the photos that bad boy gets hot. The start up EGT temps on the APU's in our 767's reach 770 deg C & run around 400 deg C. I have no idea how hot that motor gets, but I know it's way hotter than a piston motor. Also, I would hate to be anywhere near that turbine wheel if it lets go.
