Default OT: Teflon Coated Engine Parts
If Teflon has the lowest coefficient of friction, why wouldn't you coat engine parts with it (cylinder walls, pistons, bearings, cam, lifters). Is it just cost? Would the reduced friction generate any extra power do you think. Just a random thought.

My new forged TRW's are teflon coated and I like them alot. You're able to bore with closer tolerances this way.
