Goal is: 350-400 HP engine. Need advice
I am planning on having the work done by corvette specialty shop. I want to go in knowing exactly what I want done. I am looking to spend no more than 5k max. I have been thinking of 383, cam, roller rockers, etc. (early cast iron 86). Can a few of you list what I should ask to have done and what type of parts to use. ie- forged pistons, should I change injectors or just have rebuilt? Can I change to aluminum heads? These are the types of questions I need some help with. I am looking for a comprehensive list of brands, advantages and so on. thanks. DB PS- I have opted against a crate engine.

It adds up very quick :yesnod:
For that price and range HP range its really hard to beat a crate engine with a warranty. Does your price include installation at the shop or just parts and machine work?
