So with recent cold weather and snow! I was forced to actually make progress on my motor. It's all pretty much together now, a few things stilll need to be done before I can start it up. For instance put it in the car!! get a new radiator, fabricate the exhaust, build turbo support brackets, wire up the ignition, run the fuel lines, figure out how to fit in a alternator and power steering pump. Only after then will I finally be willing to turn the key and hope that all has paid off. I have attached a pic of the engine on the stand. It's a rather horrible picture, considering my limited lighting, cramped garage, and well unkept area. Aside from that, the camera pretty much sucks, with horrible color and resolution. But oh well. I just wanted to snap a pic.

 Wow I had no idea you were building a TT !!! That should be awesome once it's dialed in :yesnod: . How about some engine specs, I can't tell from the picture what your using for induction.

Congratulations! It looks like you've overcome all your assembly problems. I've been following along and I know you've had a tough time. I hope the rest goes smoothly. Good luck and...
Re: finally got the engine together!!!!! (CFI-EFI)
Thanks for the response, I hope that the clearance is (enough) the closest it comes to is at least 48 thousanths. I consider that close enough to 50. :) Thats my biggest worry. Other than that, it's all good. I really don't know what I am waiting on to toss it in the car, that is the next logical step, the only step in between is aligining the scatter shield. I'll get to it I guess. Once that is done, the rest is rather easy, and I do want to get it done soon. At least then I can back the car outside and get some real shots. and trust me it willbe ...."swell"
Re: finally got the engine together!!!!! (69 N.O.X. RATT)
well.... cough cough.. thats a good question. i have a mcleod street twin clutch setup, And a super t-10 under the car now, But I know I am going to need something more stout. Considering the last t-10 and my last attempt with a TT setup I managed to shatter the hell out of the trans. And this motor "WILL" be a hundred times better than my last setup. I am still trying to figure what I can use. I don't want anything that loses streetability. i'm thinking along tremec tko or something, as long as it can be built stout enough. but in order to make it handle the expected power, it will still probabily bust.
In other words, I don't know yet, I know it will be a while be a while before I could afford what ever I need though.
