1206 gasket intakes ?
I'm wondering what intakes out there fit to a Felpro 1206 intake gasket. I've been collecting all the parts to EFI my new engine, but I'm still about $1200 away from completing it due to upgrading the entire fuel system. So now I'm thinking of just throwing an intake & carb on top for this year so that I can at least run the new engine ;) .
Any suggestions to intake and also carb size I should consider ?
My engine is a 388 sbc. 4.125 bore/ 3.625 stroke. Heads are AFR 210RR gasket matched to a 1206. Compression is 11.0:1. Cam is 112 degrees lobe separation mech roller. The lift is intake .616"/ exhaust .622" with 1.6 rocker arm ratio. Duration @ .050 is Int. 248 & Exh. 254 . The cam timing events @ .050 are 16 52 63 11.

ld85, I'm looking for a carb intake to use temporarily until I can do the EFI conversion without taking any shrtcuts ;)

Weiand team G - I can't ever remember which intake I have it's the 7530 or 7532 Mine is the taller of the two. one is rated at up to 7200 rpm and the other is rated at 7800 rpm. Then just pickup a 650 - 750 carb and go have some fun
I just looked it up. Good bang for the buck. You could also have it modified for your FI rails
