Internal Manifold Vaccuum Leak
I have had the intake off the car 4 times, leaking at teh bottom of the ports. Pulling oil inot the intake. Have checked the angles and machined the bottom of the ends. Everything seems ok but can't get it to seal. Have tried two different types of Fel-Pro's even used gasket sealer on em
Hmm I don't know about the coating with epoxy thing.... but if it's a 93 LT motor and you are certain that porus metal is the problem..just get another intake..they are a not that expensive right now if you get a used one on say ebay...
I am curious as to how much machining was done to what ever you machined though. if you milled the intake down to far the ports might not be in a postion to properly seal and cause a leak.. usually if machine the heads and intake you may have to deck the block to keep proper geometry as well... just some engineer thinking.
