Reverse lockout?
I don't have a Camaro but my friend has a 96 z28 and Im sick and tired of watching him shove the damn thing with all his force and claim its fine. Is there a reverse lockout and how do you turn it off.

Assuming his car is a "6 speed manual", the transmission set-up is probably similar to the Corvette, in that there is a solenoid that prevents you from hitting reverse if the car is going forward, more than 5 MPH. However, there is probably also an adjustment that can be made to the shift mechanism to allow for smooth shifting. I'd look up a shop manual....

No adjustment. The RLS is probably failed. Simple bolt in replacement though.
