Going to look at a 98 Camaro next week. Pointers would be appreciated.

For your 1998 sail panel, they will look like all the others in preceding years. It was very late 1998 and 1999 that GM changed the adhesive which caused the bubbling.
As for your "ABS Inop" light, early C5 Corvettes, 1997-2000 use an axle mounted EBCM that faulted once soldered connections broke. The F-bodies are much more robust and are mounted in the engine compartment.
Look for a wire going to the wheel hub from the backside, make sure it is still there. If it is, then it could be the wheel bearing which is common on these vehicles.
Get the vehicle scanned to see which one's output is 0.
