As for your "ABS Inop" light, early C5 Corvettes, 1997-2000 use an axle mounted EBCM that faulted once soldered connections broke. The F-bodies are much more robust and are mounted in the engine compartment.
Look for a wire going to the wheel hub from the backside, make sure it is still there. If it is, then it could be the wheel bearing which is common on these vehicles.
Get the vehicle scanned to see which one's output is 0.
