Hi guys, I took the day off to redo my weatherstrip on my t-tops.
The outer strip with 4 screws that holds the w/s in place (not necessary to remove), but I thought I'd clean it up. What color should it be, flat blk, semi-gloss blk, or chrome? thanks
also, the inside 2 inches of the t-top, flat blk or same color as the interior.
I checked the NCRS 1970-1972 Judging Manual and I could NOT find an answer to you question....so, I went out to look at mine. Mine have what appears to be primer(grey) not black like my interior. If you get a better answer than my bologna....let me know. So there's your answer nothing in the Judging manual in regard to T-top interior color or lack of.
The chrome metal piece that is attached by screws and holds the weatherstrip portion that is above the side window is chrome that is painted over flat black.
The outside 2 inches of the fiberglass top on the inside is painted flat black also completely around the perimeter.
