70 Vert. Hardware Questions
Does anyone have a 69-70 survivor car in the Maryland area that I can crawl around and take some pictures?
I am trying to determine some wiring routes for the alarm wiring, rear lamp wiring at the dash plus some correct hardware. The AIM is not real clear regarding the wire routing and only gives part numbers for the hardware.
Right now I would like to know if the rear tail lamp assembly and rear wire harness really used the washers as shown in the AIM along with the 1/4-20 nuts. Mine had no washers but you could see it had been apart.
I am also trying to find the correct screws to hold the rear grills down on the rear deck. Type and finish. (I also ordered the judging manual a year ago and it is not ready yet)
I have more questions regarding originality and I think only a real survivor car can properly answer them.
Mine is an L46 4 speed but that should not effect what I am looking for. I would prefer to look at a small block car only because I do want to see what the original sheilding attaching looks like and what the original alternator brackets and hardware look like. I also talking about things like the hood latches etc.. All that was Chrome when I purchased the car.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
