Default Removing 69 headrests?

I'm stripping everything off of my seats for the uphoulsterer to restitch them and can't figure out how to remove the headrests. Looking at the AIM, it looks like you just remove the escutcheon plate and they can be removed but when I try to pull them out, they are held by a stop or something internal to the seatback. I know this seems like a dumb question but I'm stumped! Thanks in advance for an replies!

I got the simple answer  on the C3 forum. Just grasp the headrest and as you rock it back and forth, pull up on it and it will come right out. I was being too gentle with it thinking I was going to mess something up internal to the seat if I jerked on it to pull it out. :smash:
