It's not unusual on the earlier C3's to find a copy of the build sheet stuffed up between the back of the speedo and tach, or rolled up and stuffed in the rear camber strut rod bracket on the bottom of the diff.

Been out of town. I am going to try to take care of some of your requests, but it will take a while. I wish I had more time but I am lucky to have a good job and a great family. I do apreciate the info and advice. I like the Idea of just break it down but no time right now. Perhaps when school starts douring rainy season. I thought I saw a car on the registry just 80 or so numbers from mine

On what registry?
You have to be very careful about claims made on the internet.
If you count the total number of "claimed" LS-6 Vettes on the internet you'll find they exceed the actual number produced by a very wide margin.
As stated previously, posting photos of what you have will dramatically shorten your search process and cost you nothing but your time.

Also reported: in the wiring behind the center cluster; behind either kick panel; tucked in the springs under a seat; and on the floor of the rear storage compartment under the carpet.

Good luck with the hunt.

Unfortunately that source for 1971 LS6 Corvettes is not good.

Since last August 2009, I was able to uncover some important information on LS6 Corvettes. Unfortunately, HELLS6 is not a factory built LS6 Corvette.
