Default Dueling Vettes?

With two completely restored rolling chassis, the shop's owner (Dennis Pacy) and I decided to take a few 'artistic' shots.......Can you identify what the other rolling chassis is?

I saw in the other pics it has a 427 cleaner. So it must be a 66. I thought the KO wheel cones are brushed not polished on the 66?

OK, now I get it. That's your chassis on the right side. It's a 66 427/390 hp.

The chassis on the left side is a 67 L71 because it IS a midyear, but the tri-power and rally wheels weren't available until 67. All the 427s used big honking 4 barrel holleys before 67.

Definetly a 67 L68 or L71.

you guys are good :D

Yes, the one on the left is a '67 427/435. Clearly, the one on the right is my '66 427/390.

Neat shot though, huh?
