I finally have paint!!!
After 3 months of body prep, the car is now Nassau Blue. The pictures show the paint 6 hours after it was sprayed. It is lacqure and will be buffed next week. I can't wait to get it back in my shop so that I can just sit there and look at it. :D :D :D :D

Frankly, I think 67s get all the attention, but I would just as soon have a nice 66. At my first job out of college, I had a friend that went to school in Urbana. Right after graduation, he had bought himself a brand new 66 427/435?, four speed transmission Corvette, and I had taken a wife. Who do you think regrets their decision most at this point in life? :D
It was the same color as yours, Nassau Blue, with white convertibe top, black interior, side pipes, and knock offs with gold line tires I think. On a cold winter morning, he could barely keep that thing running with the camshaft it had.
Looks like your previous owners may have had a persistent heater core leak! :lol: :lol:

Nice color, The painter who is painting mine just finished a 73 conv your color and it looked great especially when the sun hit it.. Great job!!!!!! :)
