I need some help
I have a corvette I need some help with. I am lost here. I spoke with the man whom's name is on the title and here is what I was told.
I am looking at a 1981 Corvette that has Cross Fire injection, and is badged as a Collectors edition Corvette. But the title is a 1981 and the 6th digit is an 8 not a 0.

So I look up the man on the title and call him. He tells me he was told this car was built at the end of 1981 and that it was a 1982 model but badged as a 1981.
Something does not seem right here. I would like to know if the VIN# is located other places besides the dash. I would like to confirm these numbers match.
