bench testing 68-69 ammeter gauge
Could someone give me a VERY simplified wiring guide or simple way to bench test the ammeter gauge on my 68. As of now, its stuck all the way to the right, wether the ignition is on or off, or engine is running

All you need to do is check with an ohmmeter. If the circuit is open, the guage will not function. You can open the guage, unwind the coil, measure the length of the wire, rewind using same guage wire. I rebuilt mine and it works great.
