50th Anniversary Screw Drivers
Anybody looked at Snap-on's 50th Anniversary Corvette Screw Driver set? I can't believe they're asking $179.95. It looks like a good(?) $20 screw driver set, so when you put it in special packaging it should sell for about $49.95. What do you think? :eek:

for some reason I thought the set you were speaking of was a twenty peice set.I paid 75.00 plus 6.50 shipping .Once I heard about them I spoke to a snap on guy and he said he sold out ASAP he has 3 chevy dealers on his route.He was charhing around 67.00 for the kits.I wanted a set and thought that it was fair to pay the 75.00 for it.I had a hard time finding them on ebay but I did.who has the high price that you were quoted ebay or a snap on guy?
The snap on guy I met says he always sell at the recomended prices to his customers as a reward for supporting him

This was a Snap-on tool truck. I thought they had factory prices. Should I report him to Snap-on? Sounds like he is trying to rip people off. :smash:

I think hes just trying to make a buck(A BIG BUCK) chances are thats why its still on the truck.I just won another set off of ebay.

I know Snap-on makes really good tools but MAN! I can't believe anyone would pay that kinda money for a set of screwdrivers- $79 or $179. :skep: I'll stick to my Craftsman cheap-o screwdrivers, thank-you-very-much!!
