Default C2 window channels

WARNING - ACTUAL FCR QUESTION !!!

In looking at my AIM and the various supplier catalogs I can't quite tell if the front "window channel" they sell is the whole piece shown in the AIM including the bolt etc that secures it at the bottom to the door inner skin, or if it is just a felt insert that goes into the rigid steel part. I'm planning to "fix" the vent window, but need the front glass rail. Can anyone tell me if the front "rail" is the same as the "channel", is it part of the vent wing assembly, or ???

Thanks - Greg

The front glass channel (the "U"-section steel channel with the stud at the bottom) originally came as part of the "Vent Window Assembly". I think what you're seeing in the catalogs is the fabric insert with the chrome beading on the edges that is inserted into the run channel. Paragon lists the vertical front run channel (the steel part) in their catalog, NOS, with the price as "Call", and we know what that means

Thanks John.

Anyone know what the cross-section dimensions of the steel window run is in case I need to "create" one that will hold the normal felt piece?
