Anyone have a guess at how points would be deducted for having an underhood light installed in my 1973?
The light was not available in 1973. I did get a metal light from a late 70's GM vehicle.

Probably a one point deduct for having a 'damaged' wiring harness where you connected it electrically, and maybe another point for having drilled some holes in the hood to attach the light.
The same logic applies when a luggage rack is installed- you get points deducted for having holes drilled in the body, not for the presence of the rack.

I don't know if I'll get it judged. The more I "improve" the 73 Vette: removable rear window, rear window tray, new radio/CD, Moonroofs, water hose valves, underhood light, etc, the more points I lose.
