C3 wiper solenoid.....
I know those little solenoids on the back of the tachometers (68-72) are impossible to find. If you need one here's something interesting I found out today. I was helping a friend troubleshoot his Air-tique A/C in a 57 chevy this a.m. There is a panel that has four small 12volt solenoids with vacuum ports on it to control the various doors via a micro switches in the original heater/ac control panel. While not exactly like the one on the C3 tach it is very similar and would work perfectly. Since you cannot see this relay I think these might be a very cheap alternative to the expensive, hard to find original ones. Just passing one something I thought may be of interest.
