Default Steering Wheel Identification Help

I posted this on another forum without any luck, I came across a steering wheel while cleaning up my father's shop after his funeral that I believe may have been from his 79 vette.

It's about 14" in diameter, 3 spoke, either chrome or polished Alum. (I didn't really check), leather wrapped, has a 2 3/4 inch bolt circle with 6 chamfered holes and a 2 1/4 inch center hole with 6 notches.

It also has "Made in France" stamped on the back of the bottom spoke.

Does this look like it came from his vette? I'd kinda like to hang onto it if it was.

It may very well fit a Corvette as the bolt pattern looks similar, but it was not factory original. It's an aftermarket piece.

:iagree:

It looks like a piece currently for sale in all of the major Vette catalogs. Aftermarket.
