dashpad replacement
i am in the middle of a dashpad replacement,i have removed everything.i'm at the point of fitting the new pad.are there any secrets to a safe landing? i know that the gauge cluster and the grab bar assembly need to be cut out,as well as the speaker grille hole. the vette is a 58. thx, jim

I've helped a few friends do this very project on solid axle cars. I do remember that there is a LOT of trimming of the foam to get the dash pad to actually fit. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Chuck
