Does anyone know of a vendor who offers TA shims with the OEM style... with a single hole at each end of the shim... as opposed to the shims that are open on one end?
I purchased them from Corvette Central years ago. I think Long Island Corvette has them also (will work for a 69). The alignment guy was not happy when I gave him my 67 with the stock shims and I think looking back, I would have chose the non-stock ones. (I brought the car back to the alignment guy twice, I still have a slight vibration upon acceleration. I did not have the heart to bring it back to him.
The slotted shims started very late in 1970, along with the drilled frame and long cotter pins to retain them. Alignment guys do NOT like the non-slotted shims.
