Well I haven't been too active this summer and I haven't even driven the Vette at all this year, but this little guy is the reason why.
I miss driving the Vette and hanging out with everyone but my little guy makes it worth while.
As soon as I put Tyler in the driver's seat he immediately started to smile. If he is anything like I was, that could be trouble.

Cute kid.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My car has only been out of the garage a few times so far this year. (I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter and 20 month old son.) The good thing is that they keep growing so eventually he'll help work on it with you. I'm really looking forward to those days. Working on cars, going to car shows, and racing with my dad are some of our best memories. We don't get to do is as much anymore since I moved away but when we do, it's great. He's coming to Detroit in a few weeks and we're taking the Corvette down to the Grand Prix.

You'll have to train him on the "other bottle" you have in your car when he gets a little older

Good to see you post again.

Thanks guys, he's a great kid. I can't wait till he can tag along with me to car shows and start turning wrenches in the garage.
I am looking forward to next summer and plan to bring him along a few times.

Understand your pain. I have not taken out my car this year either, but your son has a seat up on mine, yours has at least has been in your car, mine hasn't. I would love to hand my car down to my kids when they get older and hope they drive just like me.

Don't worry, we will get our cars out next year!!
