Route 66 Tech
In a couple of weeks, I'll be taking my 98 coupe to a Test and Tune session at my local track (Route 66 Speedway, Joliet, IL) for the first time.
The car is basically stock, so I'm figuring that I'll be lucky to break into the high 12's (little to no track experience).
I have a helmet, but its rated SA95, will that pass tech? Are there any other pieces of safety equipment I need? I tried posting this in the performance section, but never got an answer, so I figured I'd ask the local guys!

Last time I was at 66 (and it was a while), they used NHRA rules.
I found an old schedule for helmet expirations:
Snell 95=1/1/07
Snell K98=1/1/09
Snell 2000=1/1/12
Snell 2005=1/1/17
I picked up a G-Force open face helmet from Winner's Circle for about $150 when I bought a helmet for Autocross.
