Found out today that one lane each way on I 70 will be closed from I 465 to the IL. state line. I did not hear when it is to start. Soon I am sure. Make sure you all stop by the F/S Corral and say Hi. I will be there with the 63 White SWC.

I just bought a 67 Museum Quality Coupe today but it will not get here in time for Funfest. It is on the west cost, probably won;t shipp it to me till sometime middle or late next week. I will have a friend close incase it comes while I am at Funfest so he can lock it up in the garage for me till I get home. See you at Funfest.

I 70 is not down to one lane all the way to the IL. State line from Indy. It is hit and miss. Watch your speed in the work zones the fines about triple or more it them. You can bet they will be watching. See you all there.

Going to stay off 70...hit and miss not point in getting there during the hit, plus it undoubtly is rougher and debris laying around. 40 sounds like the better bet to me.

See you guys tomorrow at McD's in Plainfield... I'm assuming that this is at the Plainfield exit off of 70? I have heard that traffic has been really screwed up out by the airport... I'll leave early too make sure I get there by 10... Looking forward to a gorgeous drive to Effingham!!

I was there today- just curious, when did this become "Bling Fest"?? I've never seen so much add-on chrome in my life-- some of this stuff is downright awful.

This show has always been C5/6 heavy with the predictable stick-on tacky mods, most often bought from... well, what do you know?

I think I'll drive over there tomorrow.

You mean in the engine bays? Not my cup of tea but it does seem popular.

Few deals in the scratch and dent area, picked up some neopreane seat covers for $100 and the only thing I could find wrong is one small thin spot on one of them. They are for a C6 but the only difference is suppose to be the airbag, so that flap will just be tucked in.

Install alley seemed busy, it amazes me the piles of factory catbacks. I would hope anyone with a titanium would know better and keep it for resale.

I was there yesterday for 6 hrs, I think the chilly&cloudy weather hurt the attendance. Was hoping that the GM boys would have a 2012 Carlisle Blue vette to see. None on the carrier truck either

There is one on display today. Story is GM had one on the way and it was hit by a truck on the way so theyfound a guy here that had one and he agreed to pull his over under a tent to display it.

Was looking at the 12's on the truck. The exhaust has a second set of converters now...?

I never paid much attention to my 11 GS, however, I am pretty sure my 11 Z06 and 10 ZR1 do not have them.

I was there Friday and Saturday and thought the weather was great. It's always nice to see what I don't want to do to my Vette and giggle a little with my dad about the tacky mods but hey it's not mine so they can do whatever they want to THEIR car. Concert Saturday night was great and I think there were a lot more people there this year vs. last year at least on Saturday. I will attend again next year!!
