Default I'm back

Boy, what a load of crap.

I don't know if anyone else had the same B.S. problems I had with this website in the last few days, but what a load of B.S..

On my XP machine all I needed to do was to delete all the cookies, history and off-line history.

On my MS95/98 machine I needed to get into the Network Settings and change the DNS Codes.

White, you were right, Frontiernet is a bag of B.S.. Their so called technical help was of very little help. If I owned a company and was only able to offer help of that quality it sure wouldn't be called Technical Help, and that's for sure.

Now that I have that out of my system and all seems to be functioning for now, have a good night.

No, not quite true, You pay what the market will bear

See you in a few at the meeting, I think Dr. Norm is going to be there, along with Mr and Mrs Didriksen and Mr and Mrs Zastrow.

I took off work early today to get my computer problems figured out. Didn't know I was going to be more of an expert than the professionals.

I didn't have any trouble, other than the Forum setting of not adjusting for screen width. I like the new look! I think I need a new graphics card though, it's really jittery.

I was back, from work, no problem, but when I tried to open Corvetteforum from home this morning, BAM there it was the dreaded, "Can't find server"

If this continues for this one website much longer, I'm done, don't need the frustration.

If I was having this problem across the web I'd be angry at the ISP or whatever was causing the problem, as I see it now it's the Forum that's causing it's own problem.

This just plain sucks

Easy Grandpa...

True, if I were the project manager running this conversion, I would be hanging my head in shame right now...they are doing a "feel as you go" conversion with what looks like no conversion or performance testing at all.

When something of this magnitude is done, you really need to have thorough testing...there should be some minor bugs found after implementation (you can't catch every scenario)...but the site has been down a lot in the past week...that cost CF $$$!

Stop spiking that Metamusil...it's making you jumpy! :D

Yeah,...it's pissing me off,...funny how people say they have no problems and then look at their signatures and see the little red x's.

It wouldn't be so bad if tech support were available, but that is just an oxymorom of the industry,...kind of like honest politician.

Alright , alright, already,...I'll give them another chance, but I'm approaching my limit and may have to resort to local clubs and their antiquated communication regimes, i.e. phones, e-mails and meetings. That will throw the proverbial monkey wrench into spontaneous activities, such as we've enjoyed this year.

BTW...I did a little math.

If you wanted to fly to Chevy Vettefest on the 23rd (weather permitting) it would run $200 each for the flight, landing fees, fuel, etc... if it were split between 4 people...plane holds a maximum of 6.

$133 if we had 6 people...but if we did 6...we couldn't take...uh..."healthy eaters" let's say for weight/balance.

AHR's 2-9 I believe, not to mention St. Cloud. I agree it's not much, but where else can you crash so much.

Deactivation in the C8 LT2 was not a problem during test. Oil pumps and Valve springs were the biggest problems
