We went last year. Corvette show on the infield Saturday and Sunday and we camped out in th infield Saturday night. NasCar truck races on Saturday and Indy racing Sunday... pretty cool weekend event. I'll keep the calender open for the last weekend in July for sure!

No, you can pretty much come and go as you wish. I'm not sure but at some time they probably shut the gate to get across the track to the infield, but you can party as long as you like.
Plenty of camp sites on the infield, even for nascar.
Plan on doing the same this year for the Corvette weekend.
