Search Engine here, why doesnt it do recent stuff?

Search Engine here, why doesnt it do recent stuff?
I noticed when I do searches that it only goes up to around july of last year, even though I just posted or replied to posts within the day or weeks ? Am I missing something here. Any help?

Troy is trying to find alternatives to the present "search" function of vBulletin.. which is extremely quirky with our large database and archives... It is, at present, not the most reliable
