A lot of threads are obviously from earlier dates/times, but they get repeated with the current date/time just as if they are a new thread but carry over the number of views and replies - how do you do this?
Are you talking about on the main thread page where the threads (such as yours in the attached pic) has a date, then when someone posts to that thread it goes TTT (to the top) of the thread?
If so, then each time a new post is made in any thread, it moves it back to the top of the thread list. Each time it shows when the last post was made in that thread. Older ones fall down, then to the next page, and finally to archive.
If not, then I may need more info to be able to answer your question.
Thanks - I'm starting to see how this works. I originally posted a thread to sell my C5 and received no replies so I edited that thread by lowering the price a few days later. It showed up as a new thread (same car/different price) listed under the date the thread was edited). How do you cancel these threads or do they just go to archive? I would like a prospective buyer to only see the most current thread as opposed to the older ones containing outdated pricing.
BTW I have enjoyed lurking around the various forums.

Typically you would only have 1 thread to sell your vette.
If you get no replies, but want it back on the top of the list, you can add a post (typically a "ttt" or "bump" in the body of the post).
Then if you want to lower the price you can add 1) add another post or 2) edit the original post and say you have lowered the price.
If you add a whole new thread about selling the same car, sometimes a moderator will catch that and lock one of them. If you want one locked, at the bottom of that section, lower right, there is the list of moderators that watch that section. Click on one of those and send a PM (private message) regarding what you would like done.
Check out the Southeast Section too for events happening around the TN area
Thanks - I will look up what goes on around here now that we're back in the fold - had a '67 Sting Ray years ago up north and loved it - recently ran into 'vette folks at a local Crossville affair who were from a Knoxville club (East TN Vettes or similar) and did check their website
