One thing that really bugs me is that I see a lot of bad and uninformed advice given on bodywork/paint issues.
If we had a bodywork/paint forum topic, I think that some of the more informed and some pros would hang out there and set the issue straight if someone were to give bad advice.
I think it is really a hole in the forum not having a place for bodywork/paint.
Yes, they did. It does not seem that very many think there should be. You may want to take your idea to some of the moderators individually for their opinion. Then from that feedback, decide on whether you want to mount a campaign.

OK. I decided to do my campaign in the form of a poll to the members and it is running.
The results are overwhelmingly in favor of a Bodywork/Paint forum.
The members have spoken.

Any more discussions based on the results of my polls?
I think the majority of members would like to see it happen.

I have not seen any. You may take this to cor07vette and savewave, the administrators of the forum for an opinion. That's the only place left to go before going to the forum owner.
Hi, I read your post. The Corvette Forum absolutely, positively needs a "Body and Paint" forum. It should be included under the "General Corvette" Community.Bodywork and paint postings are spread out in various forums and this is not efficient at all. People are not getting the help they need.
