Default "more replies below current depth"

The index at the top has the "more replies below current depth" with posts that have many replies. How do I get rid of this? I've looked in my settings and I can't find anything related to turning it off.

This makes reading threads difficult and time consuming; it used to be annoying but now I'm realizing it's just a waste of time. Can someone help me or provide some insight to this?

Thanks

Sounds like you may be in "threaded" instead of "linear" display mode.

In the top right hand area of the thread, look for "Display Modes" drop down and try switching it.

Thanks, that fixed it. However, I had "Linear - Oldest" seleted in my control panel. IIRC, I've changed that setting around to try to fix the problem without any success. So we might be dealing with a bug.

Anyway, I'm fixed now! Thanks for the quick reply. I can finally enjoy the forum again
