Am I the only one getting database errors?
trying to get around from time to time the page is not displayed and you get a database error

I did some investigation on the homepages. The application is hosted by a 3rd party, whose database server is not responding. We haven't decided the future of this feature yet, but I wanted to let you guys know we are looking into it.

As many of you know, I'm clueless when it involves "geeK" stuff. My impression, based on my limited understanding, however, is that the tech Corvetteforum shares with a number of other sites believes the database issue has to do with instructions associated with various Forum functions not being efficient.
He has been working on rewriting those instructions, as he has time, to make them more efficient and, therefore, quicker so that they don't take so long when the system is under load that they cause database errors.
Since that process started, I'm getting a lot fewer database error messages. Sorry to hear your experience does not match mine. If you could provide some detail on what function is triggering the database errors for you, the URL and text of the error message you are getting and how that is impacting your sales, I'll be glad to share that with tech.
Otherwise, the top-tapping doesn't help resolve the issue.
