You don't use the whole link, you use some kind of "code" inside the link to put between the [yt] tags. Looking at your other post, it appears the youtube code is "VVcDLTzpfgQ".

I found out how to do it from other members and Troy when he first started it. You have to find the "code" in the url string or know where to find it in that long string.
[yt]<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/
VVcDLTzpfgQ &rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/
VVcDLTzpfgQ &rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>[yt]
I recognize the bolded part above as the actual "code" based on the url string. Using the yt tags on this site, it does all the other work for you.
Yes, I had to manually type the yt tags.

The tag at the end of the code is [/yt].
The tag in front of the code is [yt].
You are putting [yt] at both ends.
You don't have to paste it in the url link. Just type it in the post with the tags on the ends of the code.
