I am using Firefox and Windows XP home edition SP2. On this website only I cannot stay logged in. I have to enter my user ID and then FF puts in the password each time. I have cleared Private Data, deleted cookies, changed my password, stood on my head, hit the computer with a hammer and it still does the same thing.
Any ideas or help??
Thanks,

Try this.

Open Firefox, at the top click Tools, then click Options, then Privacy, and then in the cookies window click Exceptions. When the exceptions window comes up type in www.corvetteforum.com and set it to Allow.

Im guessing the forum cookies are getting fried every time you close Firefox.

Tried it and didn't work. It is doing it on both IE and FF. I've tried disabling the AV/Spyware and it still does not save my login.

Sorry bout that, if I think of something else I will let you know. I can't figure why the problem is specific to the forum.

Yeh I'm wondering the same thing. This only started happening about a day or two ago. When I put in my username and then the password when I login in the password disappears right away. Not sure what is happening lately.

Do you have the "Remember me" check mark when logging in?

When you say it doesn't keep it, does that mean between sessions of the browser? Do you close the browser, then when you open and come back it prompts you?

Or is it between forum sections you go to?

There are some settings that say clear cookies each time you exit browser.

If it just started happening in the last 2 days and with both browsers, then I would suspect some new software or setting change that did this and it does sound like a cookie issue.

The check mark for "Remember me" is checked. If I close the browser and reopen I have to put my username and pword back in. If I leave the website and come back I do not have to log back in. If I look at the cookie it tells me it expires at the end of the session. This is the only website it does it on.
There is no new software in the last two or so days and all the settings for both browsers have not changed.
