For those having the problem, ensure that your version of Windows/Internet Explorer are up to date. As a computer technician, I see this problem all the time.
Take a trip over to Microsoft's Update website (http://www.update.microsoft.com/wind...aspx?ln=en-us) and scan for updates that you need. The only ones you should concern yourself with are the critical updates. For those of you using Internet Explorer 6 and do not want to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7, make sure that you uncheck that download before starting the process. Other than that, you need to have all of the critical updates install. You leave yourself open to all kinds of problems and security vulnerabilities by not doing so.
Another option is to use a decent web browser like Firefox (www.firefox.com). This is a highly customizable web browser that is faster and capable of doing things that Internet Explorer wants to do when it grows up.
I made sure my updates were all up to date, and I still have the problem on this site and on one other one. It has never appeared on any other sites. On the other site I am seeing a "fastclick" popup that was blocked where on this site I am seeing a "doubleclick" popup being blocked. My home computer isn't having the problem so I am sure it is something with this machine, problem is I can't seem to find it with running the standard suite of Spypot, AVG, Adware or any of the other malware programs.
There is a problem with the Active controls on the Forum site....
You can fix it by going to Tools.... internet options... Advanced....
Scroll down to the security page and check the box "allow active content files to run on My Computer"
That will solve the problem, but it will also leave you vulnerable to hacking and bad things, so the problem isn't really fixed, this is apparently a "band aid" that leaves you open to security issues, but for now it stops the annoyance.
It would still appear that the Forum has a problem, would appreciate a PM from the forum when you get it fixed so that I can turn my Active content off and plug that potential security hole.

That is the last thing you want to open up on your computer.
I would highly suggest disabling that and trying a different web browser like Firefox or Opera. That is not a good decision!
