Recent visitors not working

It means that the same people revisit your profile, or guest/unregistered/not logged in users view your profile. Either of those cases will cause the counter in increase while the names on the list don't.

Actually, no I didn't. I simply visited your profile, as you requested, and the visit was recorded and shown on your profile. 99% sure that the same users, and/or guest are viewing your profile and causing the counter to increase while the names on the list don't change. That's not unusual, actually.

If you're seeing the Recent Visitors count increase, but no new names added, this is because either or both of the following:
A) The same users that are already listed in your recent visitors section revisit your profile. This adds to the hit counter without changing the displayed names because the name was already there.
B) Unregistered, Guests, not logged in users visit your profile. This adds to the hit counter, but does not change the displayed names because "Unregistered, Guests, not logged in" users are not tracked by name
Therefore, this is not a technical issue and nothing is wrong with the system. Instead, this is the way the feature was written by the developers.
