Virus detected

Good Morning.
My Kapersky Virus detector keeps showing

1/25/2010 5:42:11 AM Detected: Trojan.JS.Redirector.ar Internet Explorer http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com...s.js//show_ads

everytime I open CF and everytime I open anything in CF.
It does not appear to be on my end.
It is denied everytime, but I am concerned about others without virus detection.

Interesting. What browser are you using? Have you run virus scans using a couple of different anti-virus software packages? Are your virus definitions up to date?

I wonder if these types of problems occur because of people posting various links to other sites in their threads or possibly post up pics hosted by sites that could have a trojan??

I've been very lucky in that I have never seen a virus warning pop up on my machine with CF running. I usually visit 7 or 8 forum sections at any one sitting.

Some here who had such a problem after the forum was attacked 5-6 weeks ago don't seem to still be having a problem after getting rid of it and deleting their browser's cache.

I never had a problem with Firefox and McAfee.

Over the last week or so, McAfee has been downloading updates almost daily.

Our tech team informed me that this is a standard part of google ads, and that you might be able to prevent getting the message by reducing the security settings you have on your Virus detection software.

I picked up a virus yesterday when viewing a picture on the C5 General forum. Nasty attack on my computer that was able to get around all of my virus blocks. I had to re-configure my computer completely. Definitely a problem here.
