When you click 0n someones name, a list comes up and at the bottom it says : add_______ to your contacts, if you do this is it different from befriending someone, and do they know that you did this? there are some that post on the tech stuff that I like to follow what they say, but don't want them to think I'm a stalker, or some kind of perv. thanks: Mark

When you do the above action, you will be given the option to add them just as a "buddy" or to send a Friend request. If done as a "buddy", the other party will not know. If done as a "friend" request, they will know as they will be sent a confirmation to confirm the friendship. If the friendship is confirmed, it will appear on both party's profile page.
